ODAC Announces 2005
Swimming All-Conference Team
Keturah Akida,
Emma Axt, Jess Cobb, Kristine Holda,
Colette Moryan, Amy Roberson and Abbie
Sauter all earned all-conference accolades for the
Generals.
Randolph-Macon junior Erin Ewalt,
a native of
Sweet Briar’s Nicole Snyder and Randolph-Macon’s Sarah Swann
were tabbed co-Rookies of the Year. Snyder, a freshman from
Sweet Briar’s Jason Gallagher was recognized by his peers as
the ODAC Coach of the Year. Gallagher, in his second year at the helm of the
SBC program, led the Vixen to a fourth place finish in the conference
championship, including the addition of co-Rookie of the Year Nicole Snyder.
Kim Edmonds and Jessica Ware from Randolph-Macon Woman’s
College were also named to the All-ODAC squad.
Joining their teammates Ewalt and
Swann on the team are RMC’s Maureen McLaughlin,
Heather Porter, Aimee Powell and Randi Smith
Washington and Lee (596 pts) was followed by Randolph-Macon
in second place (475 pts), R-M Woman’s College (249.5), Sweet Briar (230), Hollins (213) and
