Victory Records: With 28 wins, Calvin has matched the second-highest win total in school history, matching the 28-3 record posted by its 1990 Final Four club. Calvin's 1991-92 national championship team holds the single-season record for wins in a season with a 31-1 mark.

Division III opponents: Calvin is 22-0 against Division III competition this year and 2-0 against NCAA Division II competition. Calvin's only defeats this year came to nationally-ranked NAIA Division I Azusa Pacific and Biola of California. Third-ranked Azusa Pacific and seventh-ranked Biola (NAIA DI) are both competing in the NAIA Division I national tournament this week.

Number-One Perch: Calvin moved into the number-one spot in the final D3hoops.com Top 25 national poll two weeks ago, marking the first time Calvin has been ranked number-one by a national poll since its 1992 national championship season. Calvin was ranked 22nd in the preseason national poll. Calvin also finished out the regular season as the number-one seed in the Great Lakes Region for the seventh consecutive week.

Triple-Tries: With 562 three-point attempts on the year, Calvin has established a new single-season school-record for three-point attempts, breaking the previous record of 545 set by Calvin's 1993-94 squad. With 207 three-point field goals made, Calvin is just five made three-point field goals away from breaking the Calvin single-season record of 211 set by the 1993-94 team.

Free Throw Woes: Calvin has struggled at the free-throw line this year, connecting on just 69.7% of its free throws overall and just 68.5% in league play which ranked seventh in the MIAA (league games only). Calvin had its best free-throw shooting performance in league play in its win against Albion on January 22 as the Knights connected on 14 of 16 (87.5%) of its attempts at the charity stripe.
