For the third consecutive
season, Randolph-Macon guard Megan Silva has been named the Old Dominion
Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Year as the league
announced its 2005-06 All-Conference teams at a pre-tournament banquet held
in the
Salem
Civic
Center
Wednesday night.

sits atop the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women’s Basketball
Tournament bracket. The Yellow Jackets enter the tournament with a 22-2
overall record and 19-1 mark in conference play. More
**For the first time in
league history, the 2006 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men’s and
Women’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals will be webcast through the
internet free of charge. The ODAC has reached an agreement with Penn
Atlantic to provide fans of the league with high quality streaming
video/audio of both the men's and women's semifinal play.
** The Championship game will also be broadcast tape delayed on local
UPN affiliate WDRL-TV Roanoke, Va.,
